The north is Tenerife’s older, greener, quieter self. This loop strings together a UNESCO old town, the Orotava valley vineyards and the thousand-year-old dragon tree of Icod — with some of the island’s best food in between.
The loop
La Laguna old town (park once, walk everything) → La Orotava balconies → Icod de los Vinos → Garachico → return on the TF-5. Around 120 km of easy driving.
